Riccardo Muti leads a collection of Italian opera’s greatest masterpieces in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra season. Giuseppe Verdi's “Va, Pensiero” from Nabucco and the famous Anvil Chorus from Il trovatore showcase CSO's magnificent chorus.   Italian bass Riccardo Zanellato and the Chicago Children's Choir join in the second half for the Prologue from Boito’s Mefistofele.
