Celebrate Bach's 334th birthday with our third annual 'Coffeehouse Concert' at St. Chrysostom's Church. With a focus on domestic music-making in the Bach household, this year's program features favorite songs from the "Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach", including the rarely-heard soprano version of "Ich habe genug"; chamber works for violin, viola da gamba, and harpsichord; and the enigmatic works for lute or harpsichord played on the lautenwerk - one of Bach's favorite instruments.

Enjoy a complimentary cup of tea or coffee, or have glass of wine by the fireside as we recreate an evening of music and merriment in the Bach family home.

An informal lecture & discussion about the music and instruments will precede our concert at 6:30 pm.

Performers:
Hannah De Priest, soprano
Sallynee Amawat, baroque violin
Anna Steinhoff, viola da gamba
Jason J. Moy, Harpsichord & Lautenwerck

Admission is FREE; a suggested donation of $20 will be collected at the door, with all proceeds benefiting the performers.

Due to limited seating, please RSVP by Thursday, March 21 using the Ticket link above, or by visiting http://bit.ly/CafeZimmermann.
