From the director:

“Presented in a slightly-staged/gregariously-improv'd concert version with piano, TT-O takes their usual fresh look at the chestnut, working to change what may be holding Ory back from achieving a placement in the standard operatic repertoire. We switched out the rectis for dialogue, added another love couple and interpolated music from other Rossini operas.”

TT-O can not be accused of lacking originality. Director Aaron Hunt can often frustrate those who came to hear standard versions of the operas being billed, but at least one is rarely bored watching his work.
