Join the singers of the Petite Musique Collective as they take the audience on a choral journey across Europe. The concert will feature a wide range of music from French children’s songs to Scandinavian folk tunes and popular British madrigals. The resulting concert is a mosaic of music from different times and places; one might find oneself in a 19th century Viennese parlor, a pre-war Parisian schoolyard or even a small English banquet. The underlying thread that weaves through these myriad languages and styles is the simple beauty of four female voices, singing in perfect harmony, highlighting the many-faceted European choral tradition. Tickets for the concert are available for purchase on the Museum’s website below: $15 in advance, $20 at the door, students with a current student ID may attend for $10.
